MOLTKE'S COCKTAIL SCHOOL

Skip the aperitif and give your guests a special experience: Teach your guests how to mix their own aperitif or cocktail.

Moltke’s Cocktail School offers customised classes for your guests based on number of participants and available chambers and halls. The class content itself is individualised and adapted to your group, but always contains the following modules:

• The history of the cocktail − Tall tales featuring cocktails throughout history
• What is a cocktail? − Liquor, juice, soda, liqueur, syrups, water, ice, and decoration
• Bar equipment − the pourer, the shaker, the muddler, the mixing spoon, and the strainer
• Workshop: Part one − Learn to pour correctly and precisely without using a jigger
• Preparation methods − 'Shake, muddle and stir'
• Workshop: Part two − Shake your own aperitif: Cosmopolitan and/or Mojito
• Contest
• Award ceremony − Bar equipment or books

The cocktail school lasts approximately two hours and offers a blend of talks, instruction and workshops in which the participants themselves work at the bar. The class wraps up with a contest, and all participants are issued a booklet containing cocktail recipes and a summary of the methods they have learned.

Moltke’s cocktail school can also be customised as a teambuilding event similar to those offered at well-known cooking schools.
