THE DRONNINGGAARD CHAMBERS

The Dronninggaard Chambers is located on the first floor of the palace with windows facing Bredgade, adjoining the Green Chambers and across from the Large Assembly Hall.
 
With its own permanent furnishings and décor, the Dronninggaard Chambers makes an excellent venue for small meetings or intimate dinners.
 
The Dronninggaard Chambers was named when Frédéric de Coninck, a wealthy merchant, purchased the palace and commissioned Erik Paulsen to create the two large paintings and three overdoors with motifs of Næsseslottet, Frédéric de Coninck’s manor near Dronninggaard on Lake Furesøen. Today’s art experts consider the large paintings to be superb examples of the painting style of the time.
